Economical and versatile. This synthetic fibre rope is easier to handle than rope made from natural fibres. Low to moderate elongation. Floats, with high resistance to mildew and marine growth, and good resistance to most chemicals. this is the lightest rope we offer and is nearly twice as strong as Manila. This monofilament fibre polypropylene rope is very smooth-surfaced. Due to its relatively low melting point (330°F), it is not recommended on capstans orbits where heat from friction could cause melting or fishing. 8 strand extra high strength polypropylene mooring lines, used for mooring larger vessels. These ropes have a high strength to weight ratio, float and do not absorb water.
